Age: At least 9 yrs old by October 31st (generally 4th - 6th grade).
Explorers earn achievement badges in any of the six AHG Frontiers of Skill and receive activity patches for participating in Troop activities and/or special events. Service stars are awarded for every 10 hours of community service and they may earn a religious award.

The Ida Scudder Level Award is earned by those girls for completing one badge from each Frontier, serving the community, and participating in Troop life.
